The affinity between Chardonnay and femininity has long been acknowledged. It’s the wine which, made after classic recipes and, moreover, ennobled by the contact with wood, turns into an addictive instrument of pleasure. Its citrusy soul, bearing some floral intonations, is enveloped in deep and warm aromas of hazelnuts, almonds and vanilla. A seducing combination meant to stimulate one’s senses. A wine with silky glides, lukewarm and friendly flavours. The taste, revealing immediately lime “jerks” and drops of grapefruit peels, invades explosively the papillae. Yet, gently and certain, the aftertaste is taken charge of by the buttery flavours of hazelnuts just taken out of the oven, increased by the vanilla inflections of the oak barrel. Intense aromatic notes of citrus fruits, green apple and field flowers enveloped in sensations of fresh butter. Wine’s velvety texture and the good balance between body and acidity speak to the heart. Spicy aftertaste.
